The PRTC is starting up what is called the Aquistore research project. About 500 tonnes of CO2 will be injected each day, making it the largest saline aquifer storage project in North America and the second largest in the world.The CO2 for the project will come from a reformer at the Co-op Refinery in Regina, pictured.
